Giving Children of our Community Wings
Thank you to our prior applicants and sponsors of our Scholarship! We have been blessed to award two scholarships to high school students transitioning to college.
When we offer them, the scholarship application is open to all Massachusetts High School Seniors transitioning into college. One of our requirements is that the college you are attending must hold nonprofit status. If you are not sure the college you plan to attend holds nonprofit status, please contact the financial aid office at that institution.
Requirements
*Must have acceptance and plans to attend a nonprofit college or university for 2016.
*Must be available to receive the scholarship at our scholarship presentation event. The date for the event will be announced in 2016.
* Involvement in volunteer activities (Please provide proof of involvement. Proof could include, but not limited to, letters of verification and service log hours).
* Official Transcript must accompany the scholarship application.
* Letters of reference for volunteer work or extracurricular activities not reflected on official transcript.
*Your personal information: Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, High School Name, High School Address, and your caregiver(s) name.
* Response to essay question is to be typed and include no more than 1500 words.
Essay Question – Tell us about experiences that have influenced your decision to pursue a college education. What does education mean to you? What unique life experiences have you experienced that has involved transitions and what positive impact have those transitions had on your life? What does the mission of Angels Take Flight mean to you?
